It's prob`ably to take votes away from Trump. Although he is still technically in the race he probably won't win unless a bunch of delegates decide to go against what they're told so his best bet is Hillary at this point. He's really just staying in to get his point across at the convention. Even if he decides to go independent that would take votes from Hillary and make trump more likely. please feel free to correct me if that's wrong
