When a brain is depressed

I'm not entirely certain, but i believe the white particles are active dopamine, which is a hormone that causes pleasure. depression is basically sadness that you cannot control, and this scan proves it. aside from taking drugs, and doing pleasurable things, we cannot activate the dopamine ourselves, and thus this proves that depression is a real thing.
