Dogs are a responsibility, a living thing, NOT a toy that you can just throw away when you don't want it anymore. People who abuse and/or abandon dogs make me sick
I hate it so much when people think that dogs are objects. Here in Spain we have the trouble that greyhound dogs come from here, they were original from Spain, and they are really quickly; so many people use them to run against other dogs and when they get injured or are too old to continue running they dump them anywhere and they either die or get rescued. People seem so bloody heartless here sometimes
I see a lot of you comments that are very likely to get you reported on here and when I saw your comment I thought you were gonna say something absolutely unnecessary and inappropriate. Thank you for proving me wrong.
Some asshole probably tried to make him a fighting dog, only to puss out when he saw that pitbulls are bred to protect, not to kill.

people who purposely hurts animals are the worst type of people... scratch that, the people who harm anything innocent (animals, people, children) are the worse type of people.

Now this is beyond inhumane, that owner needs to be thrown in a pool of water with angry electric wires.
Dogs are not animals to me, they honestly mean no harm (from my experience) I love animals, they're just like us, they have feelings but are treated like lesser beings because others want to feel superior or they're just ABUSIVE ASSHOLES WITH ISSUES I HATE IT THEY ALL NEED TO BURN
Anyway I'm happy he's ok :)
The following is what happened and what happens later...IN MY MIND:
The former owner is a drug dealing criminal, who only kept a pit bull for protection and because it's fashionably intimidating. But, after tiring of the responsibility of caring for the dog, he just left it tied to a railing until it collapsed and someone else from the building stuffed it down the garbage chute.
A couple years later, the mom and kids from the family who recused him are walking on the sidewalk. It's dark when they're returning from the evening's school event. Who should stagger out of the shadows, holding a knife, looking for some easy money...the pit bull remembers that manner of walking....remembers the scent...and recalls the hatred, but recoils in the recollection of the fear it had of him. But then, the man grabs the arm of one of the children. The Children! The pups of his "pack!" No fear; no intimidation; just fangs, and rage, and Justice.
