Labs are so precious how do we deserve them

I have a lab-mix, and every night he refuses to eat until he sees me eat first. If I'm taking too long to cook up some food while his is already out, he'll start collecting pieces of food in his mouth and start dropping it on my feet and just waiting for me to eat it. We have several other dogs and it's definitely a pack-mentality sort of thing because he does the same thing with them.

I have two.. And I know that they will pretty much eat anything that looks edible
