You can't even really handle a brain until it's been pickled in formalin.

Rat brains are easier to handle after experiments. They are smaller and therefore don't squish as much as a human one does when it's freshly extracted.

You can't even really handle a brain until it's been pickled in formalin, it's just a bunch of gloopy mush.

The last one isnt entirely true. Paper irritates lower layers of skin because of the chemicals and particles the paper leaves behind in the cut. Also talking about how there are sensitive nerves in your upper skin layers is redundant because any cut deeper than that will hurt a lot because the nerves are there, paper cuts arent special. Also paper cuts do bleed, just not a lot.
