I can't help myself , i always say it's okay even though it's not, i feel like i'm too polite or something like that but it's automatic..

I've just been made to feel like if I don't accept the apology then I'm just being petty. If I tell others that I didn't forgive someone, they ask why and tell me it's ridiculous to hold grudges. I'm not holding a grudge, I'm just not able to forgive certain things. I hate feeling like /I/ am the bad guy for not forgiving someone

it's perfectly okay not to forgive someone, though. i mean only you know how they made you feel and if you're not ready to forgive and forget and they get mad at you for something you can't control, then they're not exactly the type of people you should forgive at all.

(About the teacher) Well that's all well and good I've had people apologize to me for things that in no way bothered me or needed an apology, and so not being allowed to say it's okay would get really old really fast.
