We had this happen. My sister-in-law was due before me by a couple of months but then I had my daughter extremely early so she was older. She was pissed because I gave birth to the first grandbaby of the family.

We count age starting from birth, not conception. Otherwise some "test tube" babies would be 5 years old when born...

Yes but that doesn't change the fact that the baby that was only carried for 7 months has existed for a shorter period of time.

We're not talking about existence, we're talking about age (who is older) which starts when you're born.

It's talking about both age and existence, that's what the post is saying. Even though the premature baby had EXISTED longer, it was technically OLDER
