This post is wrong about a lot of things. The only right things are the willy wonka and vampire. Plus Doctor Who was around decades before what ever star trek series that is.
Voyager, not next gen.
And technically it's never stated whether The Doctor has any qualifications other than being a time lord and having a living spaceship.
That doctor in particular is also the computer generated doctor in Star Trek: First Contact. Doctor Crusher brings him up to distract the Borg while she and the others in that area escape. He makes the comment "I'm a doctor, not a door stop." So yes, he is also involved in next gen. Neither of you are wrong
I agree that the Doctor is and will always be a doctor but star trek is not stupid! Both are amazing and if you are dumb enough to call star trek stupid you should just take your twelve year old ass off this site!
I personally think that the person who posted this didn't think that last one through. The doctor may be a space and time traveller, but he is also an actual doctor. People forget that.
I'd like to point out that neither of those actors are the original. There have been over 70 actors who played Sherlock Holmes, but out of those Robert Downey Jr actually played him first. His 'Sherlock Holmes' film came out in 2009 while the first episode of Benedict Cumberbatchs 'Sherlock' first aired on July 25th 2010. So Robert was the original out of these two.
But look at the post itself. "This is" and "this is not". It's an opinionated post. Most originals are better, but not always. And the doctor one isn't right. The Doctor was out well before that doctor came out in Star Trek: First Contact. If this post had been completely the originals, then 1. The Doctor would be in the "this is" column and 2. The Star Trek doctor would actually be Doctoe McCoy or Doctor Crusher, which were the main doctors of the original and next generation. That specific doctor was only in one next generation movie, as far as I know.

I personally like Benedict Cumberbatch way more than Robert Downey Jr I was just saying that if it was an original neither of those Sherlock's would do and i was only focusing on that but you're right with the Doctor one I just feel more strongly with Sherlock so I decided to focus on that one more even though I noticed the Doctor too.
And technically it's never stated whether The Doctor has any qualifications other than being a time lord and having a living spaceship.
Also.. I like both Sherlocks for different reasons. :\
Hehehehe
