i tried that thing where you put gummy bears or candy on each passage and you eat one as you read, the result: an unread article and three empty packs of gummy bears

And your paper becomes greasy where you placed the gummy bears. (And when you're in finals week you become obese and die of diabetes, but that's another problem)
