Same idea detained a family member (after they attacked another) till cops arrived, tried to charge me with false imprisonment even though they had me hold them while they cuffed them.

Whether or not this is wrong depends on if the boyfriend got arrested as well. If he didn't then this is wrong on quite a few levels but if he did then this is just cherry picking.

If someone ever hit my daughter, they had better pray that the cops find them before I do.
