So story time. Four years ago, summer time, pitch black, 4 am, twisting and turning in sleep, finally wake up from sleep to the sound of rain hitting the tin roof of the shed I used to live in. No electricity. I can smell the earth. It's cold. I look next to me, my phone bright and beeping with text messages in the dark. I had fallen asleep crying my life out. And it's raining so hard now. I pray and pray to God to help me. And I start crying again. My heart can't contain the sadness. I'm wiping my years and the tears just don't stop. Not for a minute. And I black out. And I fall asleep.

We need a hang glider, and a crotch less uncle sam costume, and I want the entire field of your largest stadium covered end to end with naked red heads, and I want the stands packed with every man that remotely resembles my father...that's how I fall asleep.
As a homeowner here's what heavy rain means to me:
-The Yard will get really wet so the septic drain field won't be able to take as much water to drain, and we may have trouble flushing the toilets.
-My roof might leak where the shingles need to be repaired, stain the ceiling in a spot, cause mold to grow, and encourage rot.
-That neighbor's branch that hangs over the house Might break loose and take out my gutter.
