Yeah, I heard (from my brother so the reliability of this source is debatable) that it was supposed to be at least four seasons long because of its popularity -- unintended pun -- turning the first season, but then it wasn't as popular during its second season so it got canceled.
Yeah probably it ended as if what ypur brother said was true. Cliffhanger and then nothing. Second season just gpt too weird. It started as kid in highschool dealing with HS drama but also kinda funny/sarcastic. Then it was just Drama.
