But the settlers weren't refugees. They were settlers. We don't have settlers nowadays. oh wait, america built a fuckton of military bases all over the world? Nvm.

Plus Irish immigrants, Italian immigrants etc etc, brought serious crime rates into America with the mob and mafia.

I just wanna clarify. I'm Irish, living in Ireland. We cannot pretend that immigrants haven't brought crime and general terrible stuff over with them, because they have. History is not pretty.

This is the issue. People are too one-sided. I am an inmigrant and I recognize many inmigrants have brought crime and fraud. But others have brought great things! And yes these prople were settlers but they were not invited here and did horrible things to the natives. Just like other inmigrants they had some good and some bad. Why have all posts been ull of downer comments. Nobody just accepts a joje anymore.

55% of americans think the sun isn't a star. I'm pretty sure there are a lot more than just this british man that know more than americans. Also i hate the fact americans use the "you're not in my country, you can't have an opinion". We eat at your franchises, watch your show, see your news, buy your brands/ products. I think the only thing that makes us less american is the fact that we don't live on their soil.
