I commented this on the last time this was posted, but when I was about 9, I needed a surgery and brought in my Webkinz cougar. I don't remember much, but I have a clear memory of waking up and seeing my dear cougar wearing the same socks that were given to me to keep my feet warm, and on his face was a little surgical mask.
Upon further inspection, a small tear on his chest that I had forgotten to repair, which happened to be in the same place I was getting the surgery done, was stitched up very nicely. I was nearly moved to tears.
Then, quite a bit still loopy on anesthesia, I asked if I could have some ice cream when I got home.
