if someone is truly let down and distraught, they are not going to care about proper grammar. it may be petty, but this guy just wanted a little sympathy. if you are on his friends-list, you should care a little about them. sometimes you just need someone to pat you on the back and let you know that some people DO care. sometimes in our darkest times, those in our lives are that speck of light that helps us on our path. people who are depressed, on the brink of suicide need to surround themselves with compassion and friendship. if you treat a depressed person with such petty criticism, you should be burdened with the pain you caused them. sadly the people who treat others like this don't understand the repercussions of their actions or feel the empathy needed to truly create positive relationships with other people.
