That's traditional store logic. But i'd also argue that you could grab market share by delivering what customers want.

Also why some supermarkets often change round their layout and why the items are bought are further in , the more time someone is in store the more they are likely to buy more

@princessmonstertru Yes you have a point. It could bring in more customers, but how many more people are honestly going to go to a store just because there is a store layout on the shopping cart?

It would have to be more than just the map on a cart. Design the whole experience to get people in and out asap. Sell them what they want, nothing more. Build trust, deliver exceptional service and a fair price. Then invite them back. Make the money on volume.
