I share a birthday with Ted Bundy and one of my good friend shares a birthday with the Angel of Death. Also, Ed Gein is not a serial killer according to the FBI, as only two bodies of his victims were ever located.

America’s first serial killer is considered to be Dr. H.H. Holmes, who confessed to 27 murders in the late 1890s. He claimed that he could not help the fact that he was “a murderer, no more than the poet can help the inspiration to sing.”

Jack the Ripper was also notorious for his alter ego, Jack the Stripper, who pole-danced for the ladies of London for many a shilling.

There are 5 types of serial killers, this is all based on their style of killing and their motives. Serial killers lack empathy and this stems either from a disorder but usually the high levels of cortisol in their childhood from abuse and lack of parental care that cause that part of the brain (amygdala) to be underdeveloped. I did a massive psychology report on all of this if you want me, enjoy!
