Of course everyone that hates anyone just "doesn't know any better". Of course you enlightened liberals are just so much more intelligent than everyone else. It couldn't possibly be that certain people are just as educated and intelligent as you and just don't like certain people, places, or things. Nope. You're exactly right; they're just ignorant ass rednecks that aren't as smart as you.
Of course, I guess that means you liberals must be pretty ignorant too since you hate Trump and all conservatives, right?
This is some of the stupidest bumper sticker BS I've seen here.
It REALLY pisses me off when they do that. " Oh you're a female and want to be a housewife/ black and don't support riots ? Let me tell you how brainwashed you are :) " rather than believing someone can have a different opinion other than " woke "
Holy crap guys calm down, nobody said anything about how this is aimed at conservatives. For all you know it's talking about how liberals fear conservatives. But what does it tell you that as soon as someone posts something about how hate is bad, you feel like they are attacking you.
I don't think it was a condescending remark. It just saying that fear of someone and not knowing anything about them often leads to hatred. If you know nothing about a group it's easy to de-humanize them. and it literally said never said anything specifically about politics. calm tf down.
Of course it didn't. Guestwho simply made a related point and I replied. We understand the meaning of the message and took it upon ourselves to have a conversation about it. We weren't arguing or throwing fits or anything, just talking about it. So there's nothing to calm down about. People can bring politics into things without the post needing to be about it. It's a public website where anyone can say what they want as long as it adheres to the sites rules. You haven't even signed up for the site so you don't have any authority.
Exactamundo.
But the underlying point here, guest, is that "politics" is much more than elections and what goes on in Washington or your state house. BLM is politics. PETA is politics. Lbgtqlmnop bathroom "rights" is politics. Climate change is politics.
While this post and the topic in general may not reference Democrat or Republican elected officials, this topic is politics in the broader sense and, thus, while it may not be a Democrat/Republican issue it is most definitely a liberal/conservative issue.
All that said, I repeat: no one here is getting excited nor needs to calm down
And besides, isn't open and honest dialog really the first step in countering ignorance, which alleviates fear and thus fights hate with understanding and tolerance?
Like fear of Hitler, ignorance of what he was trying to accomplish, so hate him got it. i hate stupid people with there stupid signs.

Accurate? So not... this is NOT how you would distill hate from ignorance. This way you would only transport some of the ignorance into the test tube. Anyway, the whole analogy makes no sense in the first place. How is hate a fragment of ignorance? Seems this guy is not teaching chemistry, and surely not philosophy. Arts maybe? @guestwho, @maddelathor and @rachee are right, there are good reasons to hate people. One or the other does sound a little butthurt though, I'm not gonna use the "T" word...
