It's really worth it. I don't even have them off yet, and I still know it'll be worth it.

But in the meantime, it hurts like a bitch.

Good lord. There's a huge difference between mild, temporary discomfort and "hurting like a bitch".

I agree but with my braces they pulled something way too tight to begin with and I had to go through six weeks of my teeth hurting before my next appointment, so really, it just depends on the scenario

No sometimes braces do really hurt. My ortho was really good so mostly it was fine but one time I got them tightened and it hurt like... well a bitch

Sometimes it hurts really bad. Once, I couldn't eat anything as hard as pears for a week bra use my teeth aches when I bit things
