American vs British English

I love living in the caribbean beacuse I know boht of these

Okay I live in America but I'm a little British cause I say curtains and taxi

Haha I'm from Australia, so mostly British but quite a bit of American too!

As a Brit I can tell you we never say maize.

Im American but I say some British things I guess...

I'm Canadian and we say some British things

I think a lot of Americans say taxi, too, because it's proper name is a taxi cab. And some Americans say autumn, but we generally say fall. :)
Also, I've always called them curtains. I actually think a lot of Americans do, too.

Australia calls them LOLLIES
And chips for both, but either hot chips or packet chips

Someone needs to make an Australian one of these

Half of these are generally universal between English speaking countries...

I'm American but I still say some of the "British" words like garden, pavement, holiday, and curtains.

And don't forget flipflop to thong and bathroom/restroom to loo.

I know this is so very late (39 weeks... =_=) but suddenly "Spellotape" from Harry Potter became 100x more funny.

Do Americans seriously call it scotch tape??? We call it sticky-tape in Aus

I think that the curtains and drapes one was mixed up, and I've never heard an English person call corn "maize"

Garbage is rubbish. This is SO true.

I say both of some of these.

We also say pants instead of underwear and jam instead of jelly. Oh and Ice lollies here are Popsicles. :)
