My cat used to perch on the sink and drink water from the tap, but god forbid that any of it touched her fur

My kitten was the cutest little thing who was petrified when I had to wash her (yeah she got dirty and couldn't self clean on that occasion), then I started holding her a certain way before turning the taps on and she wasn't scared at all anymore x

You might have hit that certain spot on cats where it's reflexive that they go limp and you can quite literally ragdoll them and they won't fight back.
