yo yo yO YO. This girl is named Surya Bonaly, a fucking LEGENDARY figure skater and most known for performing the move in the gif. Fun fact: Judges of the Olympic Games determined that backflips were too dangerous to perform, so made them illegal- unless one can land on only one foot. Everyone knows you need to use both feet to land, but Surya, tired of always being low balled by the judges because of her race, was done with the rules. So, like the badass motherfucker she is, she proceeds to not only do a backflip, but lands it on /one foot/, therefore making the move legal. To this day, she is still the only skater /in history/, to land it. The judges still docked her for some stupid shit cause they were fuckasses though but seriously!! This girl!!! Look her up!!

Technically! The judges were giving her unfair scores because of her race, so she decided to do the one thing they couldn't touch her on- landing a backflip on one foot.
