It was a commercial where there was a protest and someone came up and gave people a Pepsi and everyone calmed down.
Everyone hates the commercial because it's basically saying that something as serious as a protest can be calmed down by soda, although I personally find it funny.
personally I find this hype about this commercial nonsense. I've heard many say they were mad because "it was trying to be diverse but they used a white actress". others are saying "It paints the police in a bad light" what I'm saying is IT'S A GODDAMN COMMERCIAL GET OVER YOURSELVES
To clear things up: he was a non-revenue (not a paid ticket) passenger. They politely asked him to get off the plane because it was overbooked. He got off, then ran back on. The police were called and the police were the one who dragged him off. Not united. So if you people could get off your high horses and stop demanding social justice for something you know little about.
