Love is the illusion that allows you to let your guard down. Because it allows someone to take your world away, to take the light from the world and take the sweetness from your lips.

Love is by definition a mutual thing. If only one is in love and the other one is not, then it's not love, it's infatuation. The old lover and beloved thing. The fact that so many people are being cheated on or live in deception should not lead to the conclusion that love's an illusion. It's just incredibly rare.
