Come on folks, don't you get it this is a joke? I guess it's even coming from your direction. Or is it just making up the stuff for people to rage against?

Do you think everything that isn't in your agenda is a joke?

They fought for their rights and now they're fighting them.
'Ugh! Women who don't date men just because they have a penis makes me sick! That is, like, total discrimination!' -i don't believe this...just wanted to make a point..i don't really care who anyone dates.-

I learned for the first time today that some people (unknown how many) are trying to add a 'p,' to the lgbt group.
What does 'p,' stand for you ask?
Pedophile.
Was humanity a mistake you ask?
I wish I had an answer.
Uhm.. what would be the group in the political spectrum who have been trying to equate homosexuals with pedophiles, like for ages? Not only do you guys not get a joke (see above), you don't recognize an obvious false flag attack attack as from the textbook.
Half what's your point ? We're just saying " humanity is a mistake because people are trying to put p in lgbt " as a joke. When did politics come into this ?
Also, you think everything is a a joke/troll but I actually do go on Tumblr and have seen MULTIPLE people trying to say pedophilia and even things like incest and beastiality are okay and should be considered sexualities when they aren't trolling. People actually do believe stuff like this and you saying " you obviously don't see it's a joke " doesn't make it less real.

Find those SOBs on twitter. Read their bios. Read their history. Then tell me if it's a"false flag," or not.
I don't know for certain if they're real or not, but it's definitely possible. Ex. I believe riley Dennis has said that not dating trans men/women because of their genitals is bigoted. That a false flag too?

Lots of false flags and trolls and half a handful of imbeciles. It's exactly as much of a big deal as you let it be. Youz memericans sure love to get triggered.
I've reread this conversation over and over again and I do not understand what part of this is supposed to represent the joke that your comments rely so heavily upon
So to you people joking about idiots and talking as if they were serious ( just by talking to each other about it, not trying to actually put any action to the words ) you equate that with us getting triggered ?

The way I see the word "triggered" used all over, you guys are definitely triggered.
Triggered is people raging over something or an actual trigger from PTSD, it's not people talking about something calmly and in a joking manner

You're debating about a problem that doesn't exist outside of your small bubble and pretend it has any relevance. "Who let this happen" doesn't sound like joking.
And people can't even simply debate ? There's plenty of hypothetical topics that people debate about that have no actual standing in the modern world. If you don't want to take part in these debates you don't have to, but it's rude to act as if just because we like debating about certain topics that somehow we're in " a small bubble "
And the series is about stupid things people say, be it a troll or not. You don't have to pay attention to the series if you have such an issue with us talking about it.

So what exactly are you asking for, a safe space?

A place to debate ideas isn't exactly a safe space.
We could always talk about something that would piss someone off, and they'd have to either unfollow or tough it out.

What's that supposed to tell me? I surely don't have a problem with you stating things I disagree with. and I'm def not the one asking anyone to abstain from a debate. A place to debate without being annoyed by someone elses controversy ideas, isn't that a safe space?

"You don't have to pay attention to the series if you have such an issue with us talking about it." If anything, that's suggesting you go to a safe space. Even then, no one is telling you that you must do so, only that the option is open. No one even asked you (politely or otherwise) to do so, just telling you that you can.
Do you legit think it's asking for a safe space and that people are triggered, or are you just trying to discredit people with buzzwords?

Who said we were ever uninviting of outside and unorthodox ideas with fair and credible evidence behind them?

Batshit crazy ideas with evidence, we'll pay attention to. Batshit crazy ideas without evidence are mocked.
There's a difference between debating with others and trying to discredit others then acting as if YOU'RE the victim of irrational people's taunts

It really seems to me you guys would prefer to be on your own and exchange your outside and unorthodox ideas (which happen to be pretty much exactly alike) among yourselves. It's all a great consensus and when someone disagrees, there's a tendency to be quite annoyed. In my book that's pretty much the idea of a safe space.

Alright, while we do have a consensus on issue like this, more serious issues like abortion would be a wasteland.
Want to try it? Post a prolife argument. Prochoicers will be here in moments.
We really do argue a lot here, but we are usually united in how much we dislike certain extremists. Make a post about BLM, and everyone will say that BLM sucks. The same with Trump, and other things in that vein. We don't do safe spaces or anything like that even though we are inherently biased

Oh there are a few Trump supporters here and there, but the lot of us(me excluded) are against Trump

I guess it's wrong for us to agree on something... What did we agree on again? Other than this isn't a safe space?
I'm just here to reply to the original comment - some of the people who support adding 'p' for 'pedophile' to the LGBT acronym are not endorsing the adult pursuit of sexual relations with children. What they're trying to do is decrease the stigma of pedophilia so that those affected by it (and legit pedophilia, being sexually attracted to children rather than using rape as a dominance/power thing, is shown by some research to be caused by how the brain is wired) can get therapy and such to reduce their urges. As the situation is now, at least in Canada and I would assume the US, pedophiles only get pushed into treatment AFTER they've offended. Some people think that adding 'p' to the lgbt acronym would decrease the stigma so that more pedophiles would be less fearful and seek help before they do anything bad. This is all according to something my university prof told us last year - I could dig out the articles, probably, if anyone wants. I see their point about decreasing the stigma an
Actual question: what if someone is transitioning from female to male and sill has a vagina? Or a person with a vagina identifies as a male? What do you guys think about that (SJW comments aside)?
That as long as they're actually trans, not something made up, then they're valid. Yeah you may look and identify as a woman, but you have a penis and sexuality is all about your sex, meaning what's between your legs. That's why a lot of people tend to stay away from trans people sex wise unless they know for sure what they like/are bi so they like both. A straight male won't like a dick and a gay one won't like vagina, just because almost every other way you are what you present yourself as doesn't change the fact that they aren't attracted to your junk, and you can't force them to be attracted to it.
It's a really tricky subject and for the most part up to the individuals involved in each occurrence but that's just how I see it.
