In France and other European countries it has been changed to Vaiana because Moana was already a trademark

Yeah, in my country they did the same... but it sounds "normal" 'cos the term for a hawaiian woman would be "havaiana", so "vaiana" would be derived from that spelling.

What the fuck? Is just that to Italian kids it makes no sense Moana but Oceano is Ocean in Italian and being a cartoon set on an island what did you pricks wanted us to name it?
