Sometimes I don't eat 'cause I'm lazy

I don't get this whole "the pinnacle of evolution" thing. We are not the "best" species. We are not the greatest survivor. Arguably, the greatest survivors are species which have remained virtually unchanged for millions of years, like crocodiles and sharks and stuff. We are not the end product or the most complex life form. Every species that is alive today has been evolving for as long as we have, they just evolved differently.
