Some kids are okay, but in my experience most of them I know are rich spoiled kids that throw a tantrum if they don't have their way. Think "I got the wrong color phone for my birthday. Birthday RUINED." Spoiled.
From where I come from it usually depends on who raised them, not their overall nature. We have a lot of dumbass parents in our neighborhood that practically grew their children specifically to be needy and horrid. The only good kids I know of are the ones that had good parents.
Our high school kids are bad too, but it's not because they're kids, it's because they're rednecks. No offense to rednecks (to an extent I am sort of one), but it really shows
I was helping a woman with a pram onto the bus today, she said 'if you just hold his (her kids) hand and I'll be alright'.. The idea of holding a strange child's hand freaked me out so i just grabbed all her stuff and let her take the child instead xD
Idk about other people but my utilities are only like $200 for water/electricity/gas. Any "kid" with a job for like a week could make this in like a week.
I don't think you're really prepared to be a parent if you think you're doing your kids a favor just because you're providing for their basic necessities.
I don't think that was the point. I think they were saying more along the lines of kids also need to realize that it's not a requirement of the parents to buy them entertainment items.
