I remember my French teacher in high school saying in front of the whole class I reminded her of Buster Keaton because I was never smiling. Great, one more year of being bullied, thanks, I really needed that. That's when I started practicing in front of the mirror (making sure my fake smile was symmetrical took weeks) and pretending. Twenty five years later I'm still faking.

I know what you mean. Ive been there too, infact I still am "there" in my life and with myself. In school I was the kid who others got dared to ask out when they lost a bet. I got asked "why are you here?" "Did we say you could hang out with us?" "Why can't you just go away forever?". But im older now and recently i have come to the conclusion that the good moments in life make it all worth it. A million fake smiles are a small price to pay for one real one. Life gets better. Dont miss out on the good things. Im here to talk if you need it.
