One of my cats passed away a week ago and I really miss him. He was incredibly dumb but so, so soft and kind. Never scratched or bit me, always asking for cuddles... I feel like there is huge gap in my heart now, but I know no other cat could ever replace him :'(

s'okay guest, I'm sure every cat/dog owner can relate. I recently had to part with my furbaby of many years. I grew up with her. She wasnt a kitten when i got her but she instantly attached to me. She would actually be rude to anyone but me. I loved her so much so it really hurt to have to hold her during her last moments due to her old age making things painful for her so we had to put her down. I look at it as some kind of fate however, because the same day she left my life the vet happened to have a new litter of kittens that needed homes. I approached the pen they were sleeping in and one of the little ones, and only one mind you, opened her eyes and came up to the bars. I knew right then and there she was the one, and months later she has become an easy member of the family. So never feel like it's a bad thing to have that gap, it shows how much you cared and allows you to open your heart for another little one to nestle into :)
