But identical twins don't actually remain fully identical throughout their lives, since they have different exposures to sun, different wrinks from different expressions, different postures and so on

Yeah but they can be very similar, and if you see someone (almost) identical to the guy who is supposed to be dead, you're probably not going to be paying attention to those small details

They'd be pretty similar but not more than any other really similar sibling... though it is true that it might come as a shock when someone has more than a few differences on a funeral

My great grandmother was not a twin, but had a sister that looked so much like her there was a similar situation at her funeral.

Idk I live down the road from identical twins and you can just tell them apart by the width of their faces
