Well, we don't know if he studies art or not. Because some people with autism pay attention to little details (particularly of things that interest them) and many have a more active visual centre of the brain, some people can draw objects/people accurately from memory. I had a student who loved Blue's Clues and he could draw any non-human character perfectly, including the right amount of bubbles for Slippery Soap and the right amount of pepper flakes for Mrs. Pepper.
