I work in a pharmacy and you often use abbreviations when typing prescription instructions that often expand automatically or "autocorrect". For example, if I typed: "po", it would autocorrect to "by mouth". I'm certain that the sig was "Once daily", which this person must have typed as "od". But "od" actually means "right eye". And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how this must have come about
