the whole scene didn't make sense and was money thrown away. Put that money in battles -_- (they need it!)

It actually correlates with what Arya said in the first season. Ned asks her about the future, if she'll be married and have kids. Arya replies with, "no, that's not me". In this particular scene, Arya realises that her wolf has no completely changed and is a wild wolf, and she lets her go by saying, "that's not you" - as if to imply that the wolf she once knew is not there anymore and is completely different.
