Dog's probably fully grown and is more obedient so it makes sense.

Child is still anal so he's probably disobedient and bites. Hope he has his shots and is well vaccinated

Little girl on the right has a poster she's about to hold up to protest this restraint.

I keep my child on reigns, she is wild. If I turn my back to talk to someone for a few seconds, she's off dancing or jumping with no road sense. Risk my toddler getting hit by a car, or risk strangers judging me? Judge away.

My mom used to walk me on a leash, let me explain why : when I was a toddler, I didn't like holding her hands when we walked on the street. So once I threw myself down. My mom didn't want me to get dirty (fancy clothes...) and pulled me up, which dislocated my shoulder (and then, imagine the pain and my poor mom with a yelling toddler...). After that, she decided to walk me on a leash, so I could "run" around her and do anything I wanted with both of my hands, but it was still safe. We were both happy and she didn't give a shit about neighbours' evil eye. :)

Isn't the corgi wearing a harness, while attached to the leash the kid is holding?
