Reminds me of my dog's I grew up with gus who was a mint schnauzer who was blind and we had another dog was a German hunt terrier lady. Lady was Gus eye's to see and help him when he was on the leash going for walks. Then in the house he didn't know where we were sometimes. We had to say that if we were in the kitchen or living room or bathroom then he knew. Later on lady had pancreatic cancer and passed away. Then we got another dog was a lhasa apso a male. Which the would see who was most dominant all the time when they played. Which later Gus also got diabetes and we had to give him insulin shots. Then he passed away. Which Fred was lost for a while till we got him to go for truck rides and garage sales then he was ok.
