Kids, if your parents aren't letting you get vaccinated or you just need to see a doctor, go to a teen clinic. They are at reduced cost/free. When I was younger my parents wouldn't let me get the HPV shot because they thought that because it protected against cancers caused by sex then it would obviously make my grade 6 or so self all of a sudden go sex up the town. Long story short, the teen clinic allowed me to get my three catch up doses for free and the people working there were lovely! And your parents won't know because that is your medical record.
Hmm, she made it to 16 without vaccinations. Must be magic.

Yep, a 16 year old has a fully formed brain and should make all their important decisions. Facial tattoos, gender reassignment surgery, joining the military all should be done halfway through puberty.
he's only stating his opinion. there's no reason to insult him like that as it doesn't add anything. instead, you could start a debate with him rather than throwing childish insults at him

I'll do the civilized discussion thing. Ghengistron seems to equate consenting to potentially live saving vaccinations to things like going off to fight in wars and getting face tattoos. These things just aren't the same. While I do agree that vaccinations are necessary, anti-vaxxers aren't the problem. The systems put in place that produce them are. If while they were still in school, they were taught to accept arguments based on facts, reason, and logic instead of senseless fear mongering, this wouldn't be a problem. Either way, ghengistron seems to have a problem with teenagers making medical decisions rather than being against vaccinations in general.
