It's so hard to fully comprehend that we find something comforting that we can recognise

I like looking for ships abandoned on coastlines of third world countries

I like using it to get familiar with a city I'm going to vacation in...did that for New Orleans and Savannah, really convenient once I got there. And Prague is at the top of my list once I start visiting Europe, but that's a few years away. So I used it to walk the city, it's so beautiful. And Google Earth now works with two different VR platforms (and I think the little blue dots that are 360 views of a single spot in places already work with Google Cardboard). Btw, if you haven't tried Google Cardboard and its travel apps, you should!
