I like to think dreams are a parallel universe and for that moment I dream I'm another me in another universe just for a bit and maybe when they dream, they're me in this one

I had this dream where I was trying to wake up but each time it did it would turn out I was still asleep and I knew I was dreaming so i desperately kept on trying to wake up and I legitimately got worried I might be trapped like in some inception shit cause each time I successfully "woke up" I would like get reset back to the sleeping position I was in
