While I am in no way justifying or trying to make light of the behavior of some of the men in Hollywood, I can't help but think it is evidence that this has been happening since the very beginning, and much like how domestic violence follows generation after generation, so has this culture of assault and harassment. But unfortunately, the previous generation, even those still alive, are highly unlikely to face any repercussions because of the current abusers dare to name names they will simply be accused of passing the bucket and trying to deflect blame.

There's a video on YouTube that reveals many of Shirley Temples movies being pretty much kiddie porn. It's absolutely disgusting and you never really noticed it watching the movies as a kid. But I mean what can you expect when the titles are named "Baby burlesque". Watching her being sexualized in her movies as a kid only 3 years old makes me suspicious of what may have happened to her behind closed doors, I doubt this example was the only time something like that happened to that poor girl.
