I am really scared of this Shit.
My friend cracks his neck like a maniac. I always tell him that this could be dangerous, but he is Fucking dumbass.
Like normal neck cracking is okay, everyone does that, but that motherfucker scares the living Shit out of me. I sometimes think that someday he might snap his own neck.
It's hard as fuck to snap someone else's neck much less your own. I remember looking it up a while ago out of non murder related curiosity and I think one of the sources I checked said you need to generate over 1,300 pounds of force to snap someone's neck which is more than a human can produce. Well that was a while ago so I don't know if that number is accurate but I know it was way bigger than a human can produce I'm too lazy to look it up so you can look it up if you want
Ok on second thought it was bugging me so I looked it up in the journal of biomechanics : "experimental investigation of failure load and fracture patterns on the c2 axis" and apparently it's actually around 1,250 ft pounds of torque although it can be higher or lower depending on three things which is the position of the neck, the persons reaction, and speed of the force applied
