I'm not 100% sure why Sikhs wear it but as far as I know they don't HAVE to wear it ? I always thought it was cause they supposedly weren't supposed to cut their hair or it's more like a yarmulke ( idk how to spell it ) where it's not a 24/7 requirement ?
Sikhs wear their turban as a sign of respect to god and to show commitment to their values. Normally it’s a requirement to wear it 24/7 (those in the Khalsa must wear it), but some people don’t wear it because of hate, order to fit in, and other reasons. But you are right Sikhs do not cut their hair.
