Philosopup

Storytime (kind of gross) we fed our beagles some carrots, preserved in a glass jar, bit past the BBD, but hey, it's beagles. One won't eat it, which is strange, the other does, reluctantly though, even stranger. Half an hour later, he throws up, and eats it again, a bit more enthusiastic. Half an hour later: urgh… and repeat. Starting the next round. I ask my wife: "Did the carrots smell strange?" She wouldn't know, she has a cold. I look at the glass: they were not just canned, but pickled. So we didn't let him have another go, which really annoyed him, he got a taste for it. "Did he have carrots?" is an inside joke now…
