Obama faced the first ever government shut down where racist old white men refused to go to work because they knew that they’d lose, and he still got the affordable care act passed, if Trump can’t face obstacles and still do what he needs to do then what kind of a man is he?

The affordable care act gave health care to millions on Americans that previously didn’t have any kind of health care. What sucks about it is the mandate, but that’s necessary to keep the cost down,because of young healthy people didn’t have health care than insurance companies would go out of business

The issue with healthcare is that it is not a right it is a commodity and since this is a commodity we now have a government regulated system of healthcare. The issue with this is the price of healthcare is now set by the government and we only have one government. If you want to have cheap affordable healthcare you need to have competition and since it is government regulated we dont have this competition to help lower the price and help compete and allow people to openly pick options. If you want an example you should look at lasik eye surgery. This at first started at 20,000 an eye but after the government refused to cover it that means it was free ranged for doctors offices to compete and this lead to it coming down to 4,000 an eye. So no the affordable care act was not great and needs to be repealed trump just needs to sit down and think through it.

I've called many countries crapholes in the past, but I didn't mean its people. I meant that they're very behind the times and not advanced. For example, North Korea are laying on billions and billions of dollars of minerals and materials in their ground, but their technology isn't advanced enough to reach it. Craphole. Our country may not be the richest, but we have the best military and one of the countries with the most freedom. It's a privilege to live here, while other countries are decapitating their citizens for stupid reasons.

I suppose it all depends on what you think is important. I live in a small country with a far weaker military, but our overall standards of living are higher than the US. Also comparing yourselves favourably towards countries who decapitate citizens seems a bit weird to me. The US is classified as a western nation, so wouldn’t it make more sense to compare it to other western countries instead of crapholes, as you call them?

Let me put it this way all other western countries out there do not have the wealth, military power, and influence the U.S has and again why would the U.S. only be able to compare to western nations other countries are countries none the less they just suck a compared to western europe and the U.S. Western Europe is not a craphole but still isnt the U.S.

Well, it's not just the crapholes that give you less freedom than America, but places like Britain, Sweden, Germany, etc. In some countries, they look down on you if you give your child a unisex name and they prevent you from naming your very own child. But in good ol' America, citizens are dressing their child the opposite gender forcefully, because "they're not sure if they're gonna grow up wanting to change their gender." And they're praised for it, and they're allowed to do it! Also, there's still places that ban abortion, such as Chile. And a huge majority of the countries still ban any kind of weapons. You say, it's okay to outlaw guns, but a friend from Britain says he hates it, and since his mother is paralyzed waist-down, she needs something to protect herself when she's alone. But personally, I like stricter rules on certain things. But for many of you, be lucky, because if you disrespected the president like this, it wouldn't be okay in other countries. ;)

It doesn't matter what state they are in, you can't say that. Yeah he "doesn't sugar coat things" but not because he's not a politician. He says whatever comes in to his head with no regard for the consequences. There are so many other ways to tell it like it is and still behave with some decency. He has so sense of decorum because he's been able to get away with being incredibly rude his entire life. He is not qualified to be president.

@trashmanrevenge many western european countries are wealthier than the US. Relatively speaking that is, the average norwegian for example is richer than the average american. “It still isn’t the US” you’re right, and to be honest I am so so glad it isn’t.
@msopinionated I do agree that many of for example Britain’s weapon laws are useless and too strict, therefore I’m glad I also don’t live there.

just because the population is richer on average does not make them wealthier on whole as a nation. Just look at gdp heck California alone is 5th.

BTW we are still wealthier than most countries despite having the most expensive and elite military force in the world that doesnt just protect its borders but countless countries around them who can then take the time and instead of investing into a military like us can spend it into the people.

Also I’m talking about the US as a whole, I believe western europe has a higher gdp per capita (not 100% sure though), surely that means they are wealthier? I’m not expert on economics so I could very well be getting this completely wrong

That is a good point, the US does contribute to the wealth in western europa by keeping us safe

yes they have a higher gdp per capita in places like Scandinavia the issue with this though is that they also have much smaller populations and hence force less people contributing to the wealth. So Scandinavia countries tend to have a smaller population than say California so even though each of the citizens puts more money per person in they have less people so the U.S is able to make more money as a whole then Scandinavia.

Lets say all 9 million of Sweden's population puts in double the gdp per person than the U.S. This would mean they can out produce 18 million people in the U.S but the U.S. has 323 million people so take away 18 million people and the U.S still has 305 million people putting in money over Sweden.

I know you have more absolute wealth, that’s not what I’ve been saying. I’ve beem saying western europe has more personal wealth (don’t know the proper term for it byt you get what I’m saying)
