Because it's too late. I'm sure some countries would like to but it would be too much if a hassle. As well, you're gonna have people arguing about what currency to keep and which ones to retire.

And also due to deferent countries economies, the vallue of their currently fluctuates. So while the U.S. dollar might not be worth what it used to be, the value of another countries currency might still be the same as 100 years ago.
