It's really good that you finished your college. Congrats on completing it, but, personally I think instead of doing this you could donate them to someone needy. You are littering too. What's the point of it? You wanna celebrate freedom go on a trip or something with friends. I really don't like it when people do things like this and there are some people who just straight away burn the books and notes and stuff. Like bro, it cost you a lot and also HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO BOOKS YOU MONSTER?! But that's just my opinion.
Because fuck textbooks. I'm paying almost $200 for something I'm lucky to get $30 on a resale (it's some bullshit closer to $18). I could get $40 of enjoyment by just hooking up the book to a car battery and studying the burn pattern across the pages.

Then donate it to someone needy. Someone who can't afford those books.
Sucks. They're out of date because colleges require the brand newest fuck-you-iest edition.

Ohh Well.
Here syllabus doesn't change often, Revised editions come out every year but, as long as you have at least 2-3 year old edition. It's 99% the same. You can copy down what isn't in your book or click pictures of it and BAM! Problem Solved.
Also here we generally take second hand books. If some book is not available second hand then new. Rich, poor, everyone. Cause Textbooks are costly but, it sure ain't costly as US has.
