Most of the time, unless someone is famous or holds a public office, they don't use their name in the title. Would you read " Aaron Tucker saves crash victim " or " Ex con saves crash victim "
Cause you don't know who Aaron Tucker is and they're trying to pull you in to read the whole article, not to erase stigma or to be nefarious
He probably used it to stop bleeding. Its important because he is out of work, giving up a potential job, and still sacrificed what could be one of a limited number of shirts fit for a job interview to help a stranger. Sadly that isn't as common as you might think.
