As a teacher i can't stand "unique progressive" names like Tzo-Tzil, Heshlany, and La-a (pronounced LA DASH AH) all real names I swear. What's wrong with naming your kid Micheal or Susan?
Depending on the name it can come from another culture ( like Laquisha is from a French variation of a Swahili name ) so its not really " unique " all the time, but someone naming their kid weird shit for no reason ( orangejello pronounced or-ann-jello ) is terrible for the kid when you are the one wanting to feel unique, they're the one having to live with it
