Funfact: they don't got hacked on purpose. They just got infected by a malware who is crashing / killing windows systems. It was not targeted.

there is a new malware who is basicly is killing systemfiles & send infos to a c&c server who then is infecting new systems based on that informations. they got infected by that new malware. but they don't know yet how the malware got into their systems (but it seems like it got into it by random ip scans or other stuff). they too had problems with their wlan etc. because this malware.
