H.C. Andersen lived from 1805-1885, how could he send a love letter in 1936? This is bullshit! He fell in love with 3 and only 3 WOMEN and got turned down by them all.
Actually, according to some quick research, it appears he was in fact bisexual. His attraction to Edvard Collin was also apparently real, it just seems the date was messed up.

Okay. I see that I made a mistake, he lived from 1805-1875 and he was bisexual. Still got turned down.
So let me put this in other words, if he was bisexual, what changes the story? It is still a sad story. But You were right, I guess I just wanted to show him some respect, here it seems like he is now forever this bisexual person, which makes people look bad on the stories. The stories are still the same no matter what.
Don't hate homosexuals because you don't understand homophobes. That is like hating someone because they speak a different language. If you are to juvenile to stop behind 'ew' and the phrase, 'I am not homophobic or anything, but...'. People need to realize how much things like that affect homosexuals.
And it's a contradiction as well. Homophobia isn't even a phobia. Its a hatred as strong as racism. The degree of that disgust varies, but it's still there. It's equal to saying "I am not racist or anything, but I don't like my child's black friend." Don't contradict yourself.
Thank you for understanding. It is so frustrating, due to the fact that I am homosexual, that I come across these comments. I have been trying to limit the closed minded comments on funsubstance, but some are painfully uneducated on homosexuality. I wish that there was a guest speaker that talked to seniors or something, because some of these comments are ridiculous.
Hey guys, I understand your message and everything, but your going to bump an old post just to talk about your disagreement wit a comment that was made 40 weeks ago?

"Eww" happens to be the way I summed that up.
